Principal Data Engineer

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical leadership across Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and DevOps practices

• Remain hands-on, investigating complex technical challenges and unblocking delivery teams when required

• Work with AWS, Snowflake, and dbt to support and enhance modern data platforms

• Lead and mentor engineers, helping to develop technical capability across the wider team

• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to influence technical decisions and priorities

• Strong commercial experience within Data Engineering and Software Engineering

• Proven expertise working with AWS, Snowflake, and dbt in modern cloud-based environments

• Experience driving engineering best practices across data platforms, software development, and DevOps.

• Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and developing engineers.

• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions across large organisations.

• Up to £110,000 base salary
