Data Governance Analyst - Data Quality/Metadata/Business Analysis/Power BI

• Support the implementation and adoption of the Data Governance Framework.
• Work with Data Stewards to understand requirements and establish clear data ownership.
• Develop and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, Critical Data Elements, ownership matrices and data quality rules.
• Document business processes and data lineage.
• Produce user stories, use cases and functional requirements.
• Build Power BI reports and visualisations to support governance activity.
• Track data issues and actions through to resolution.
• Support reference data processes, training, communications and guidance.

• Around 2-4 years’ relevant experience in data governance, business analysis or a closely related role.
• Practical understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata and data management.
• Experience creating or maintaining governance artefacts.
• Strong business analysis and documentation skills.
• Demonstrable Power BI reporting and visualisation experience.
• Confident stakeholder engagement across business and technology functions.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

The emphasis is on practical governance delivery, stakeholder engagement and documentation. Power BI experience should sit alongside these capabilities.
