- Administer Microsoft 365 and other business applications, including user access, licensing and supplier support.
- Maintain an accurate register of devices, software, licences, key systems and support arrangements.
- Coordinate joiner, mover and leaver processes, equipment setup and secure account closure.
- Work with departments and suppliers to improve system reliability, adoption and day-to-day workflows.

- Write and maintain practical policies for acceptable use, device management, access, passwords, backups and incident response.
- Keep cyber security policies and certifications up to date.
Filling station technology
- Support Windows-based PCs and associated software used within the filling station network.
- Investigate station PC faults, remote-access issues, software failures and update problems alongside operational colleagues.
- Develop standard PC builds, secure remote support, monitoring and controlled update processes that minimise disruption to live stations.
- Support the IT aspects of new station deployments, replacements and technical documentation.
Projects and suppliers
- Lead manageable IT improvements from scoping through rollout, documentation and staff communication.
- Manage relationships with external IT, software and security suppliers and seek specialist help where required.
- Advise senior management on practical IT priorities, risks and value-for-money investment.
Requirements
- Experience in a hands-on IT support, systems administration or IT operations role with independent ownership of issues.
- Strong Windows troubleshooting and business laptop/desktop support skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, identity, permissions and endpoint security.
- Understanding of device management, MFA, backups, patching and good cybersecurity practice.
- Clear communication, sound judgement, organisation and a pragmatic approach to change.

- Experience with Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender or comparable tools.
- Experience introducing IT policies and controls into a growing business.
- Experience supporting remote, unattended or kiosk-style Windows PCs.
- Familiarity with Cyber Essentials.
