AI Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and implement AI-based solutions to address complex business and engineering challenges
• Create prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready AI applications
• Develop and maintain Python-based software solutions following engineering best practices
• Support the deployment, optimisation, and continuous improvement of AI systems
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and promote knowledge sharing across teams

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in AI, machine learning, or software engineering roles
• Proven experience designing, prototyping, and delivering AI solutions
• Strong Python development skills
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including code quality, testing, and version control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience deploying, maintaining, or supporting AI solutions in production environments
• Exposure to MLOps, cloud platforms, or AI deployment pipelines
• Experience working with international or globally distributed teams
• Knowledge of software deployment and operational support practices
