Cellular Test engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Cellular Test Engineer to join our growing team. As a Cellular Test Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the performance, reliability, and interoperability of our cellular. You will work closely with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle to identify and resolve critical issues before product release., * Test Strategy and Planning:

• Collaborate with product managers, system architects, and design engineers to understand product requirements and derive test requirements.
• Design and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test procedures for various cellular technologies (e.g., 4G LTE, 5G NR, 3G, 2G).
• Define test methodologies for functional, performance, protocol, interoperability (IOT), field, and conformance testing.
• Test Execution and Automation:
• Execute test cases manually or through automated test frameworks using industry-standard test equipment (e.g., Call Boxes, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, UE Simulators).
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, C++).
• Perform regression testing, stress testing, and corner-case testing to identify potential product issues
• Analysis and Debugging:
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and pinpoint root causes of failures in both hardware and software.
• Collaborate with development teams to triage bugs and verify bug fixes.
• File detailed defect reports in bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Tools and Equipment:
• Manage and maintain test lab infrastructure, including test equipment calibration and software updates.
• Evaluate and recommend new test tools and methodologies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 1-2 year experience. Freshers without experience would be considered as trainees.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language for test automation (e.g., Python, Perl).
• Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
