Our client Staffordshire Police are seeking an enthusiastic ERP Change Manager to play a crucial role in a transformative project that will impact approximately 4,000 police officers and staff. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the people side of a major organisation-wide transition, deploying Oracle Fusion ERP alongside the Totalmobile GRS duty management system.

In this hands-on role, the successful candidate will champion the ā€œadopt not adaptā€ philosophy, ensuring the organisation optimally utilises new systems for enhanced efficiency and improved outcomes. This position demands a dynamic change practitioner who can swiftly build relationships and implement practical, high-impact change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Strategy and Delivery:

  • Develop and execute practical change management plans aligned with programme milestones and outcomes.

Impact and Readiness Assessments:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify dependencies, risks, and adoption challenges.
  • Monitor and report on business readiness and adoption progress.

Workshops and Engagement:

  • Design and facilitate interactive workshops to engage teams and individuals effectively.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships across business and programme teams.
  • Influence senior leaders and stakeholders to secure buy-in and address resistance.

Communications Support:

  • Collaborate with communication teams to create clear and compelling messages about technology-driven changes.

Adoption and Risk Management:

  • Track, measure, and report on adoption progress, implementing strategies for smooth transitions.

Requirements

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
  • Proven experience in delivering business change within large-scale technology transformation programmes.
  • Experience engaging with and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
  • A hands-on approach to change management, demonstrating the ability to run workshops and engage staff effectively.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in public sector environments, particularly within policing or emergency services.
  • Background in ERP projects, ideally with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Familiarity with finance, HR, and procurement processes within a public sector context.

*Please note this role is subject to POLICE VETTING, you must have been residing within the UK for a minimum of 5 years continually

Benefits & conditions

Competitive daily rate of £794.00. Hybrid working options to promote work-life balance. Opportunity to lead impactful change in a dynamic public service environment.

This is a temporary position with a chance to make a significant difference in the organisation. If you are a proactive change manager with a passion for driving success in large-scale transformations, our client would love to hear from you!
