Network Systems Analyst

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network switches, routers, industrial networks, and wireless infrastructure.
• Support Windows servers, Windows Domains, system management applications, and operating system maintenance/upgrades.
• Manage and support VMware or Nutanix virtualization platforms and enterprise backup solutions.
• Perform antivirus management, security patching, and OT cybersecurity activities to maintain secure and stable infrastructure.
• Plan and execute hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, and infrastructure improvements, minimizing disruption to production operations.
• Support network design and configuration for capital projects, infrastructure upgrades, and other site initiatives.
• Collaborate with Process Control, OT, Operations, and remote IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, coordinate resources and suppliers, and identify opportunities for system enhancements.
• Provide onsite technical support in a production-critical industrial environment, including participation in emergency call-outs as skills develop.
• Follow established safety practices, engineering standards, and operational procedures when performing system changes.

Support and maintain Operational Technology (OT) and Process Control Network (PCN) infrastructure at a refinery. This role combines network administration, server configuration, virtualization, and cybersecurity to support production-critical systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in at least two of the four core technical areas and a strong safety-first, operational mindset. Oil and gas experience is preferred but not mandatory; manufacturing or other industrial experience is valuable., * 3+ years of experience in an applicable IT/infrastructure discipline.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Process Control/OT teams and local or remote IT resources.
• Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills.
• Safety-conscious and methodical approach to changes affecting production systems; willing to ask questions and avoid rushing critical work.
• Ability to work onsite in Ferndale, WA, in an industrial environment that may be loud and hot.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours support and a 24/7 operational support model, with first-call responsibility introduced as capability develops.
• Ability to lift and move computers, servers, and small network devices.
• Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco networking, including switch configuration and network troubleshooting.
• Industrial networking, Moxa switches, Palo Alto, and industrial wireless networks.
• Honeywell industrial wireless or control-system network experience.
• VMware or Nutanix virtualization.
• Windows Server, Windows Domain Administration, and server lifecycle management.
• Trellix, antivirus deployment, security patching, and OT security awareness.
• Acronis or other enterprise backup solutions.
• System management applications and infrastructure documentation.
• Experience in refinery, oil and gas, manufacturing, factory, midstream, upstream, or other industrial environments.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree, How many years of experience do you have with Cisco Networking including switch configuration and network troubleshooting?
