ServiceNow Software Architect

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Software Architect (Advanced) to design, develop, configure, implement, and support the ServiceNow platform for the State of South Carolina.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow development and administration, IT Service Management (ITSM), server-side API development, PowerShell, cloud integrations, and workflow automation.

The selected candidate will also provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and support the integration of third-party and cloud-based solutions., * Manage and maintain ServiceNow Development, Testing, and Production environments.

• Perform ServiceNow configurations, system updates, change promotions, cloning, and security administration.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow forms, workflows, and integrations.
• Develop and implement automation solutions and self-service capabilities.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and cloud platforms.
• Utilize ServiceNow capabilities to support multi-cloud resource provisioning and governance.
• Develop and maintain server-side APIs and integration solutions.
• Enhance ITSM processes through workflow automation and platform optimization.
• Research and evaluate third-party and cloud-based technology solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide advanced ServiceNow platform support.
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and mentorship to software engineers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather technical requirements.

• Strong hands-on experience managing and developing large-scale ServiceNow environments.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts and frameworks.
• Experience with server-side API development.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with ServiceNow workflow development, configuration, and administration.
• Understanding of cloud integrations, automation, and system integration concepts.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and implementation., * PowerShell: 5 years (Required)
