Epic Consultant

• Implement, configure, and support Epic applications based on clinical and business requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to analyze workflows and recommend system improvements.
• Support Epic implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing, and production troubleshooting.
• Investigate application issues and coordinate with technical and functional teams for resolution.
• Assist with system integrations, data validation, and performance improvements.
• Develop functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• 8+ years of experience in Epic consulting or healthcare IT application support.
• Hands-on experience with Epic EHR applications in a healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, hospital operations, or revenue cycle processes.
• Experience with application configuration, testing, implementation, and production support.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with clinicians, IT teams, and business stakeholders., * Active Epic certification in a relevant module.
• Experience with Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR.
• Experience with hospital information systems and healthcare data workflows.

Experience:

• Epic EHR configuration and support: 5 years (Required)
• clinical or revenue cycle: 5 years (Preferred)
