Cyber Security Code Analyst, Mid

Join our dynamic cyber security team as a Mid-level Code Analyst, where you will play a key role in safeguarding critical systems and data. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in cyber security principles, coding, and threat analysis. You will work alongside experienced professionals to identify vulnerabilities, analyze code for security risks, and maintain a strong security posture.

• 1+ years of experience working with Java, C, C++, or Python programming languages
• Experience with reviewing and analyzing software and firmware design documents, including requirements specifications
• Experience with reviewing and creating professional documentation and diagrams in support of designs or assessments
• Knowledge of code review or testing processes and security vulnerability identification or assessments of software
• Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles and practices
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with High Assurance, RMF, or NIST assessment, CVEs and CWEs, validation, or evaluation processes and requirements
• Experience with static or dynamic code scanning techniques or tools such as Understand, Coverity, or Klocwork, or software development environments
• Experience with Memory Safe Languages, such as RUST
• Knowledge of secure coding standards and best practices
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, public key concepts, and networking protocols
• TS/SCI clearance
• DoDI 8570 Level I Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
