Enterprise Applications Manager

This role combines people leadership, business partnership, and technology ownership. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who enjoys developing teams, partnering with stakeholders across the business, and ensuring enterprise applications deliver measurable value.

What You’ll Do

As Manager of Business Applications, you will lead a team supporting critical business systems while serving as a trusted partner to organizational leadership.

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of application specialists, analysts, administrators, and technical resources.
• Establish team goals, performance expectations, and professional development plans.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Manage workloads, priorities, and resource planning to ensure successful project delivery.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and talent development activities.

Business Applications Leadership

• Own the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications.
• Develop and execute application roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with department leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Lead application implementations, upgrades, integrations, and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and capable of supporting future organizational growth.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, service levels, and software licensing.

Business Partnership

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive successful outcomes.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Build strong relationships across the organization and serve as a trusted advisor.

Data & Analytics

• Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Promote data quality, governance, and process standardization.
• Work closely with stakeholders to improve access to business insights and reporting capabilities.

We are seeking a leader who has successfully balanced people management, technology leadership, and business partnership., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, data platforms, and technology solutions.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams, vendors, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with Salesforce, CRM, ERP, or other enterprise applications, including system integrations and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and data governance; experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or similar platforms preferred.
• Proven success leading software implementations, technology projects, and business application strategy.
• Experience managing external vendors, managed service providers (MSPs), and service-level performance.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and technology operations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Experience in nonprofit, association, membership, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
