Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, cloud-native application design, security, networking, and cloud migration, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform to meet business and technical requirements. Develop cloud-native solutions using appropriate GCP compute, storage, networking, and managed services. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud services and ensure successful solution delivery. Conduct cloud readiness assessments and define migration strategies for moving applications and workloads to GCP. Establish and enforce cloud governance, security, compliance, and architecture best practices. Monitor and optimize cloud performance, resource utilization, scalability, and operational costs. Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams. Lead cloud migration initiatives, addressing technical dependencies, risks, and implementation challenges. Document architecture designs, technical decisions, standards, processes, and operational procedures. Stay current with emerging GCP services, cloud architecture patterns, and industry best practices. Required Qualifications 7-10 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud design, and implementation. Mandatory: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification. Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform architecture and services. Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications and services on GCP. Strong understanding of GCP compute, storage, networking, identity, security, and resource management services. Experience, implementing

cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks, Proven experience leading cloud migration projects. Ability to analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, scalability, reliability, and costs. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application deployments. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Knowledge of other cloud platforms, including AWS and Microsoft Azure. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Mandatory Certification: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
