IT Support Specialist

• Provide on-site and remote IT support for staff across three business locations
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, network systems and peripherals
• Demonstrated success with administration of Windows and Server operating systems, general network administration, HTML and CSS web programming, and database administration, including data normalization techniques and data migration.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, internet services, and system maintenance
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.)
• Ensure daily back-ups, software updates, and cybersecurity protocols are running smoothly
• Assist with setting up and supporting VoIP systems, printers, and office technology
• Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities. Availability for infrequent after-hours emergency maintenance
• Experience with remote desktop tools, POS systems, or security camera networks

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science PLUS a minimum of 2 years hands on experience in IT environment or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Comp TIA A+ certification is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, networking basics, and cloud platforms
• Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Self-starter who can manage time across multiple locations
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation (some travel required)
