Job description

The IT SystemsSupport Administrator is a hands-on role supporting our employees and technology environment. The position combines Microsoft 365 administration, Power BI and collaboration tools, end-user support, PC/laptop maintenance, and practical network troubleshooting. The right candidate will have a solid technical foundation and the desire to expand their skills as our technology environment evolves., * Provide responsive, professional technical support to employees across the organization.

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and repair Windows PCs, laptops, printers, and related hardware/software.
  • Support Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, user accounts, permissions, and related services.
  • Develop, maintain, and support Power BI dashboards and reports; help departments use data and Microsoft tools more effectively.
  • Support Teams and SharePoint workspaces, permissions, collaboration, and application integrations.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, VPN, switching, cabling, DNS/DHCP, and general connectivity issues.
  • Assist with servers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, endpoint security, and other infrastructure as needed.
  • Maintain IT documentation, inventories, procedures, and system information.
  • Work with vendors and participate in technology deployments, upgrades, office moves, and improvement projects.
  • Take ownership of issues through resolution and identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, and the end-user experience.

Requirements

We are looking for an IT professional who shares that mindset-someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people, learning new technology, and finding better ways for our teams to work. You do not need to know everything on day one. Technical aptitude, initiative, communication skills, and cultural fit are just as important as the technologies already on your résumé., * Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, with experience in Teams and SharePoint.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI-or strong interest and demonstrated ability to learn it quickly.
  • Strong Windows desktop/laptop troubleshooting and PC hardware skills.
  • Practical understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
  • A self-motivated, collaborative approach and willingness to research unfamiliar problems.
  • Ability to occasionally assist with after-hours maintenance or urgent technical issues.

Helpful, But Not Required

Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Power Automate, Power Apps, SQL/SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory/Group Policy, Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender, VoIP, VLANs, or business/ERP applications is a plus., You enjoy helping people, communicate technical information in plain English, take ownership of problems, and are comfortable saying, “I don’t know yet, but I’ll figure it out.” You are curious, dependable, approachable, and interested in improving how technology supports the business-not simply maintaining the status quo., A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is helpful but not required. Relevant work experience, certifications, internships, military technology experience, or demonstrated technical ability will be considered. Candidates with approximately 2-5 years of IT experience are encouraged to apply, and we will also consider less-experienced candidates who demonstrate strong aptitude, customer-service skills, and a genuine desire to learn. Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, Power BI, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
