As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support site operations through attentive access management. Join Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift., * Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.

• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and delivery activity at access points; communicate with site personnel regarding authorized arrivals, departures, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
