IT Technician

• Set up computers, phones, user accounts, and logins
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows computers and laptops
• Troubleshoot hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, phones, and audio/visual equipment
• Install and troubleshoot software such as Windows, Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, Adobe products, and other business applications
• Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Perform routine maintenance on network equipment
• Install and maintain network infrastructure, including cabling and related equipment
• Install and troubleshoot telecommunications systems

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on position. The ability to:

• Occasionally lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Use small hand tools, including battery/electrically operated tools
• Climb ladders and work at extended heights
• Reach, bend, kneel, crouch, push, pull, walk, stand, and carry equipment
• Spend extended periods sitting and working at a computer
• Work inside equipment rooms and other work areas
• Occasionally work outdoors depending on current projects
• Work safely around dust, dirt, fumes, electrical equipment, and other job-site conditions

• Previous IT, technical support, administrative, or operations experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable learning new technology and software
• Willingness to work both at a desk and in the field
• Valid Driver License
