- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, licensing, and user access.
- Monitor server health, system performance, storage capacity, event logs, and availability.
- Perform operating-system patching, software updates, vulnerability remediation, and routine system maintenance in accordance with established procedures.
- Manage file shares, NTFS permissions, print services, certificates, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
- Support backup, restoration, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity processes.
- Provide basic administration and troubleshooting for LAN and WLAN infrastructure, including switches, access points, VLANs, IP addressing, connectivity, and wireless coverage; escalate more complex network issues as appropriate.
- Troubleshoot server, authentication, network, application, and endpoint issues escalated by the help desk.
- Assist with server, network, cloud, and infrastructure implementation or upgrade projects under the direction of the IT Infrastructure & Security Manager.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, procedures, assets, licenses, and administrative credentials.
- Follow established security practices, change-management procedures, and access-control standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and perform occasional after-hours maintenance as business needs require.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of professional experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or a closely related technical role, with demonstrated hands-on experience supporting Microsoft server and Active Directory environments.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and identity administration; experience in a hybrid identity environment is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and access permissions.
- Basic knowledge of LAN and WLAN administration, including TCP/IP, switching, VLANs, wireless access points, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with system monitoring, patch management, endpoint protection, backup, and recovery tools.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems methodically, resolve routine issues independently, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
Preferred Experience:

- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and task automation.
- Experience supporting firewalls, VPNs, network switches, and enterprise wireless platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, or mobile-device management.
- Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and cloud-based services.
