Datacenter Technician

• Assist vendors or engineers with secure access to the datacenter.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware changes and asset tags.
• Rack and stack servers, storage devices, and network equipment.
• Connect and disconnect power and network cables.
• Perform basic diagnostics.
• Replace faulty hardware components such as disks, memory, and power supplies.
• Manage cable installation and labeling for compliance.
• Perform network patching and port verification.
• Execute power cycling and reboot devices as instructed.
• Conduct routine health checks on hardware and environmental conditions.
• Report any physical security or compliance violations immediately.
• Coordinate with remote teams for emergency troubleshooting.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the datacenter.

• 5-10 years of experience.
• Understanding of server and network hardware.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions from remote teams.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
• Willingness to work in shifts for 247 coverage.
