IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a Support Specialist to support daily autonomous vehicle fleet operations in Austin, TX. This role combines IT troubleshooting, Linux command-line support, issue documentation, and basic vehicle hardware checks to ensure fleet readiness., * Troubleshoot technical issues using Unix/Linux commands and system logs.

• Document, track, and escalate issues using ticketing tools.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, fleet operators, and safety drivers.
• Support vehicle startup/shutdown, charging, log uploads, and basic hardware checks.
• Maintain troubleshooting documentation and standard operating procedures.

• 1+ year of experience in IT Support, Technical Support, Help Desk, or Operations Support.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux command-line tools.
• Familiarity with Slack and ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work onsite around vehicles.

Preferred: Fleet operations, Linux administration, hardware troubleshooting, NOC/SOC, or autonomous vehicle experience., * Do you have at least 1 year of experience in IT Support, Technical Support, Help Desk, or Operations Support?

• Do you have hands-on experience using Unix/Linux command-line tools to troubleshoot technical issues?
• Do you hold a valid driver’s license that you have maintained for at least 3 years, and are you able to work onsite in Austin, TX, Monday-Friday, from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM?
