Warehouse IT / WMS Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse IT / WMS Specialist to support daily warehouse operations and ensure warehouse management systems are operating efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, inventory control, and warehouse operations. This position requires someone who is technically skilled, organized, and comfortable troubleshooting system issues in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role will work closely with warehouse personnel, operations, and management to maintain accurate system information, resolve technical issues, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical and operational support for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Utilize SAP to process, monitor, and maintain warehouse transactions and inventory records.
• Troubleshoot WMS, SAP, and other system-related issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Assist warehouse employees with technical problems and system navigation.
• Monitor inventory movements, receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment activities.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and system data errors.
• Generate reports, perform data entry, and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Support system updates, testing, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, operations, and management to identify and resolve system issues.
• Ensure accurate data flow between warehouse operations and management systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.

• Previous hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is required.
• SAP experience is required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, 3PL, or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, receiving, shipping, and warehouse workflows.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve system discrepancies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse IT support, WMS Analyst, or Warehouse Systems Specialist role.
• Experience supporting SAP-integrated warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, barcode systems, and warehouse technology.
• Experience generating inventory reports and investigating system discrepancies.
• Knowledge of 3PL operations and warehouse inventory management processes.
