HRIS Specialist

We are seeking an HRIS Specialist to support the reliable operation and improvement of human resources information systems, specifically for WorkDay. This role combines software administration, systems support, and technical troubleshooting to help maintain accurate, accessible HR tools. You will work with HR and IT partners to assess needs, manage configurations, and support implementations. Your impact: dependable systems and timely issue resolution help employees and HR teams access the information and services they need., * Administer HR software using WorkDay, manage configurations, and support software implementation, testing, and ongoing troubleshooting.

• Provide systems and applications support, investigate technical issues, and coordinate resolutions with IT infrastructure and systems engineering teams.
• Contribute to solution architecture, system design, and service-oriented architecture, including microservices and RESTful application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Support system administration, server administration, Windows Server and Linux operating systems, virtualization, VMware, Azure, and system tuning.
• Assist with Active Directory management, computer networking, load balancing, virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), information security, and server backup and recovery.

• Experience in HRIS, specifically WorkDay software administration, systems administration, systems and applications support, or a related IT role.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), configuration management, automation, scripting, and technical troubleshooting support.
• Familiarity with system architecture, performance tuning, computer management, and system troubleshooting is also valued.
• A background in computer science or related systems engineering is helpful.
