Job description
- Threat intelligence research and OSINT
- Threat hunting and detection rule creation
- SIEM, firewall, endpoint, and server log analysis
- Incident response and security triage
- Vulnerability management and patching
- Security documentation and awareness training
- PowerShell, SCCM, and Group Policy automation
- Endpoint and network security
- Digital forensics and cloud security
Requirements
- Understanding of security concepts and processes
- Understanding of basic computer and network concepts
Preferred Skills
- 1+ year of experience in an IT Security focused role
- 1+ year of experience in Server or Network Administration
- Experience with SIEM and Endpoint Security Tools
- Experience with PowerShell, Group Policy, and Endpoint Management
- Knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Cloud Security
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Preferred Certifications
- Security+
- Network+
- GSEC
- GCIH
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Benefits & conditions
- Mandatory availability for Saturday and Sunday evening/night shifts
- Weekend schedule is expected to be approximately 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Wednesday and Thursday day shifts are also part of the schedule
- Must be willing to sign an NDA before interview
- Pre-employment checks include drug screening, criminal background check, and credit check
