Payroll Implementation Manager

Olympus Talent is supporting a global payroll transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Manager with deep expertise in French payroll and the Silae payroll platform.

You will be responsible for leading end-to-end payroll implementations, managing payroll migrations, configuring payroll processes, executing testing cycles, and guiding clients through successful payroll go-live activities.

This role requires a payroll implementation specialist who understands both the technical and operational aspects of French payroll and can confidently manage multiple stakeholder groups throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll implementation and migration projects

• Organise and facilitate project kick-off meetings with clients and internal stakeholders

• Create and manage implementation project plans, timelines, risks, actions and dependencies

• Gather payroll requirements and define country-specific payroll processes

• Configure payroll workflows and system requirements

• Manage payroll data migration activities from legacy systems

• Execute payroll parallel runs and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Validate payroll outputs and reconcile payroll results

• Support month one and month two live payroll processing

• Manage payroll project documentation and process maps

• Act as the primary point of contact for all payroll implementation activities

• Ensure compliance with French payroll legislation, DSN requirements and statutory obligations

• Support client sign-off and transition into payroll operations

• 5+ years payroll implementation experience

• Extensive French payroll operations experience

• Advanced Silae payroll expertise

• Experience delivering payroll migrations and payroll transformation projects

• Strong understanding of French payroll legislation and DSN reporting

• Experience with payroll testing, parallel payrolls and go-live activities

• Proven client-facing project management experience

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

• Fluent French and English

• Resident in France

Preferred

• Experience implementing payroll for multinational organisations

• PMP, Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
