VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer

Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of cloud architecture and infrastructure management., * Design, implement, and optimize VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments to support scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions.

• Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
• Manage and monitor hybrid cloud platforms integrating VMware, VCF Automation.
• Ensure system hardening, security compliance, and effective identity and access management (IAM) solutions across all cloud environments.
• Performs complex systems engineering design work that may include but not limited to, compute architecture analysis and design, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, hardware break/fix, and implementing best security practices within the ESXi Virtual Hosted Environment.
• Support the scaling of cloud infrastructure by managing Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), SaaS applications, PaaS platforms, and virtualized environments such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.

• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure with a focus on cloud computing platforms including VMware Cloud Foundation, VCF Automation
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), distributed systems, virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.
• Hands-on expertise in automating deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet within a DevOps framework.
• Familiarity with cloud services including S3 storage solutions, NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra, SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of operating systems including Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell; proficiency in JavaScript or Go is a plus.
• Strong understanding of security best practices including system hardening and IAM solutions for secure access control across multiple platforms.
• Ability to work within Agile development cycles (SDLC), supporting continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders effectively.
