VMware Cloud Foundation

• Design and implement VMware Cloud Foundation architectures aligned with organizational requirements, ensuring scalable and secure virtualized environments.
• Manage and optimize system performance through tuning, load balancing, and troubleshooting of VMware ESXi hosts and related infrastructure components.
• Automate deployment, configuration management, and system updates using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python to improve efficiency.
• Oversee storage management tasks including RAID controller configurations, server backup and recovery processes, and storage performance tuning.
• Support system administration activities across Windows Server, Linux, and UNIX operating systems while maintaining high standards of information security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions architecture utilizing RESTful APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Implement network security measures including VPNs, firewalls, DNS management, DHCP configuration, and Active Directory administration to safeguard data integrity.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues related to VMware solutions, operating systems, databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL technologies like Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Conduct system design reviews and participate in configuration management to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Proven experience in solution architecture and systems engineering within IT infrastructure environments involving virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi and vSphere.
• Strong background in system administration including Windows Server administration, Linux/Unix systems management, and server backup/recovery strategies.
• Hands-on expertise with automation tools (Jenkins, Git), scripting (Shell Scripting, T-SQL), and configuration management platforms to streamline operations.
• Familiarity with RAID controllers, storage area networks (SAN), load balancing techniques, and network protocols including RESTful APIs for integration purposes.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including information security practices for enterprise environments-firewall management, VPN setup, Active Directory management-and data protection strategies.
• Experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL; understanding of NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple platforms while maintaining high system availability through performance tuning and proactive monitoring.
