IT Administrator

We are seeking a dependable IT Support professional to provide ongoing technical support and systems administration for a small business environment. This role is responsible for maintaining Microsoft 365, monitoring backups, managing Windows updates, troubleshooting user issues, installing structured cabling and security systems, and ensuring the overall health and security of the IT environment.

Responsibilities

· Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, MFA).

· Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support.

· Monitor and verify daily backups; resolve backup failures.

· Manage Windows updates for servers and workstations.

· Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, and network issues.

· Install, terminate, test, and label Cat5e/Cat6 data cabling.

· Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP security camera systems (CCTV/NVR).

· Install, configure, and maintain Windows devices.

· Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.

· Support onboarding/offboarding of employees.

· Document procedures and recommend IT improvements.

· 3+ years IT support experience.

· Microsoft 365 administration.

· Windows desktop/server experience.

· Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.

· Experience installing structured cabling and IP security cameras.

· Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
