Systems Administrator

The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows server environments, Microsoft 365, virtualization, networking, and technical support. The successful applicant will work with IT specialists to resolve escalated issues, improve system performance, and deliver dependable technology services to clients., * Install, configure, maintain, and monitor servers and business IT systems.

• Administer Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 services.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, software, and system performance issues.
• Support virtualization platforms and remote access technologies.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Configure and maintain network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor system availability, security alerts, and infrastructure performance.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Document system configurations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps.
• Assist service desk staff with complex technical issues and escalations.
• Recommend improvements to system reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding technical issues and resolutions.

• Experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or technical support.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN, WAN, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with virtualization and remote access solutions.
• Knowledge of system security, backups, and access management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of firewall administration, VPN configuration, and endpoint security.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and IT documentation tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Azure certifications, or VMware certifications.
• Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing systems.
