Unlike traditional IT management positions, this role combines technical execution, operational strategy, security, and systems engineering. You’ll have the autonomy to make architectural decisions, implement solutions, and create sustainable processes without layers of bureaucracy.
The ideal professional is equally comfortable troubleshooting a complex workstation issue, designing a secure identity management workflow, and developing an automation that eliminates repetitive administrative work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build the Foundation:
- Establish and continuously improve internal IT operations, developing infrastructure and processes that can scale alongside a growing organization.
- Take ownership of workplace technology across Engineering, Product, Go-to-Market, and Operations teams.
- Design seamless employee onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring devices, permissions, and applications are provisioned securely and efficiently.
- Develop practical IT policies, documentation, and operational procedures that balance security with employee productivity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and introduce solutions that improve the organization’s overall operational efficiency.

- Support networking infrastructure, office connectivity, conference room technology, and everyday workplace systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues directly while identifying and resolving their underlying causes.
Engineer Security Into Daily Operations:
- Implement and maintain endpoint security standards, device compliance policies, and secure access controls.
- Support security assurance initiatives, including SOC 2 readiness, access reviews, and audit documentation.
- Introduce consistent procedures for asset inventory, software licensing, patch management, and configuration governance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential security risks and strengthen preventive controls.
- Ensure technology systems remain dependable, appropriately governed, and ready for continued organizational growth.
Automate, Simplify, Improve:
- Identify repetitive IT tasks and replace manual processes with efficient, repeatable workflows.
- Develop integrations and lightweight automation using scripting languages, APIs, and modern administration platforms.
- Streamline device provisioning, employee onboarding, software deployment, and account deactivation.
