Network System Administrator

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and/or VMware), and approved cloud services.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID, including user accounts, groups, access permissions, multifactor authentication, and onboarding and offboarding.
• Monitor and maintain endpoint, network, firewall, and email security controls; investigate and escalate security alerts and incidents.
• Maintain backup, restoration, and disaster-recovery procedures; periodically verify that critical data and systems can be recovered.
• Apply operating-system, application, and firmware updates.
• Support network services, file services, SharePoint, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Troubleshoot escalated help-desk issues and provide technical support to employees.
• Maintain accurate system inventories, configurations, access records, and operating procedures.
• Use scripting or automation, where appropriate, to improve reliability and reduce repetitive administrative work.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and perform other duties as assigned.

• Five or more years of relevant IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience administering Windows Server and supporting business-critical systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and identity and access management; familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and Azure is preferred.
• Experience with virtualization, network/firewall administration, endpoint security, and backup and recovery.
• Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting/automation tools is preferred.
• SQL Server administration or support experience is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer-support skills.
• Microsoft, CompTIA, or other relevant certifications are preferred; equivalent practical experience is welcome., * relevant IT: 5 years (Preferred)

• Day shift - 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Monday - Friday
• 100% on-site - 2701 Loch Raven Rd, Baltimore MD 21218
• On-call to handle off-hour system issues.

Pay: $92,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
