Quality Assurance Analyst with K-12 Education data & Snowflake, Salesforce, and Tableau Experience

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to ensure software systems meet functional, non-functional, business, and technical requirements. This position is a contract role and is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

What You’ll Do

• Review project requirements, specifications, and business expectations to develop comprehensive testing plans
• Create functional and non-functional test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria
• Execute test cases under varying conditions to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability
• Document, evaluate, and communicate testing results to stakeholders
• Detect, log, track, and report software defects and program bugs
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects
• Create testing procedures, user guidance, and training materials to support application quality initiatives
• Identify, recommend, and implement appropriate testing methodologies and quality assurance strategies
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and testing activities
• Collaborate with project team members regarding application development, customer issues, and security requirements
• Support testing efforts for systems containing K-12 education data
• Assist with validation and quality assurance activities involving Snowflake, Salesforce, Tableau, and automated testing solutions when applicable

• 5+ years of experience detecting, logging, and reporting software defects and program bugs
• 5+ years of experience tracking defects and troubleshooting errors
• 5+ years of experience creating test procedures and training materials
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional project teams
