Job description

As a Solutions Engineer at NetBird, you are responsible for leading customer engagements from first conversation to closed deal and successful deployment. You combine technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset to understand customer needs, design the right solution, and drive decisions that result in signed contracts. You act as the primary point of contact throughout the buying process and ensure customers clearly see the value of NetBird in their environment.

You will:

  • Lead customer engagements from initial discovery through deal closure and onboarding.
  • Own the technical and commercial aspects of customer conversations.
  • Understand customer infrastructure, security requirements, and business objectives.
  • Design and present tailored NetBird architectures aligned with customer needs.
  • Run demos, trials, pilots, and proofs of concept (PoCs) that support purchasing decisions.
  • Address technical questions and objections that impact deal progression.
  • Guide customers through solution scope, pricing context, and deployment considerations.
  • Maintain momentum and clarity throughout the evaluation and decision-making process.
  • Support early adoption to ensure fast time-to-value and long-term customer success.
  • Act as a feedback channel between customers and Product & Engineering.
  • Create and refine solution demos, reference architectures, and playbooks.

If you enjoy turning complex infrastructure problems into clean, working solutions for customers, this role is for you.

  • Ability to translate customer needs into practical technical solutions.
  • Comfortable running demos, trials, and PoCs with real customers.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
