Job description

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms such as VMware and server virtualization solutions.
Develop automation scripts and tools using Shell Scripting, APIs, and DevOps practices to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.
Manage cloud infrastructure environments on platforms like AWS, ensuring scalable and secure solutions that meet organizational needs.
Oversee Linux and Windows server administration, including operating system updates, patches, security configurations, and system troubleshooting.
Implement and monitor distributed systems architecture to optimize performance, availability, and fault tolerance across global networks.
Configure and support network infrastructure components such as VPNs, firewalls, switches, routers, and network monitoring tools for maximum security and efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to system design, virtualization (including server virtualization), network connectivity, or cloud integration with a proactive approach.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop APIs for system integration and automation workflows that enhance operational efficiency.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to ensure knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

Extensive experience with VMware virtualization platforms and server virtualization technologies.
Strong proficiency in automation techniques using Shell Scripting, APIs, and DevOps tools to enhance system deployment and management processes.
Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and IT infrastructure engineering principles.
Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure management on AWS or similar platforms with a focus on scalability and security.
Solid Linux administration skills alongside Windows server management experience for diverse enterprise environments.
Familiarity with IT monitoring tools for proactive system health checks and incident response.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to operating systems (Linux/UNIX/Windows), network infrastructure (VPNs, firewalls), and virtualization environments effectively.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell Scripting for automation tasks; experience with APIs for system integration is highly desirable.
Strong foundation in computer science principles related to system design, computer management, and network protocols.
Experience supporting technical troubleshooting in high-pressure environments with a focus on continuous improvement.
