Job description

• Direct the full lifecycle of bridge and heavy civil projects, from initial planning and pre-construction phases to final project closeout.
• Optimize project performance by developing rigorous schedules, managing budgets, and implementing effective cost-control strategies.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration across internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain project momentum and clear communication.
• Manage contract administration and navigate change order processes to protect project scope and profitability.
• Champion a culture of safety and environmental compliance across all job sites to ensure zero-incident performance.
• Provide strategic leadership to field personnel, fostering a high-performance environment that meets rigorous quality standards.
• Engage with Department of Transportation (DOT) representatives and public stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and project specifications.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of professional experience managing heavy civil and bridge construction projects.
• Demonstrated success in delivering infrastructure projects for state or federal transportation agencies.
• Advanced proficiency in construction contract management and technical specifications.
• Expertise in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and organizational efficiency., * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply complex DOT standards and guidelines.
• Experience utilizing advanced cost-tracking and project management software tools.
