Senior Infrastructure Project Manager for FDOT

An esteemed general contractor on the Gulf Coast is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee infrastructure projects in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch, one of the fastest-growing communities in the nation. The region is experiencing rapid development, and this contractor has a strong project pipeline with a focus on FDOT-style projects including roadway expansion, utility upgrades, and transportation systems. The role offers authority, support, and a rewarding leadership environment for successful project delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Complete project lifecycle management from preconstruction to closeout
• Development and execution of project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Coordination of utility services including water, sewer, stormwater, gas, electric, and telecom
• Management of consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and inspection teams
• Handling of change orders, pay applications, claims, and contract administration
• Building and maintaining relationships with FDOT, municipalities, counties, and utility owners

• 7 to 10+ years of experience managing large infrastructure, roadway, utility, or transportation projects
• Expertise in FDOT standards, specifications, and permitting processes
• Strong background in MOT, drainage, earthwork, paving, and bridge coordination
• Experience with GMP, design-build, or CMAR project delivery methods
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, as well as Bluebeam software
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
