Job description
- Provide desktop support for end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
- Manage firewall configurations and ensure network security protocols are followed.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and tracking technical support requests.
- Assist in computer networking tasks, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Support various operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Offer technical support via help desk services to resolve user inquiries efficiently.
- Conduct network administration tasks, including monitoring network performance and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot TCP/IP issues to maintain seamless communication across devices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in desktop support and technical support roles.
- Familiarity with firewall management and network security practices.
- Experience using Connectwise would be preferable.
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles and practices.
- Proficiency in various operating systems, particularly Windows and Mac OS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN’s.
- Assist in backup and recovery processes, as well as data management tasks.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools. and technologies.
- Prior experience in similar industry is beneficial
