  • Monitor support tickets, prioritize requests, and communicate progress and resolutions to users.
  • Document technical issues, troubleshooting procedures, system changes, and recurring problems.
  • Assist with device setup, equipment inventory, software deployment, and IT asset management.
  • Follow established security procedures when handling user accounts, company systems, and confidential information.
  • Escalate complex incidents to network administrators, system engineers, vendors, or other technical specialists.
  • Help identify recurring technical issues and recommend practical improvements to IT support processes.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common software issues.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and basic network connectivity.
  • Ability to diagnose problems methodically and explain technical steps in clear language.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple support requests.
  • Attention to detail when documenting incidents and maintaining technical records.
  • A customer-service mindset and a professional approach to resolving user concerns.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with other IT staff.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or similar identity-management tools.
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms, remote-support tools, and endpoint management systems.
  • Knowledge of device imaging, software deployment, patch management, and endpoint security.
  • Basic understanding of backup procedures, cybersecurity practices, and access-control principles.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based business applications.
  • Relevant technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
