Job description
- Design, develop, debug, and maintain Java applications, APIs, web services, and microservices.
- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP), application design, system design, and database design to build scalable distributed systems.
- Work with relational databases and SQL; contribute to data access, unit testing, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with product and engineering partners in Agile or Scrum workflows; use version control and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
- Document designs and integrations, and support deployment and troubleshooting across cloud infrastructure and Linux environments.
Requirements
- Essential: Java software development, backend systems, RESTful APIs, SQL, debugging, unit testing, version control, and clear collaboration.
- Preferred: Hibernate, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, AWS, Azure, distributed computing, multithreading, and software design with UML.
- Additional experience with web development, front-end development, UI, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Node.js, or Python is useful.
- Familiarity with.NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP, Entity Framework, WCF, SSRS, SSIS, IIS, Visual Studio, TFS, SVN, Git, GitHub, Eclipse, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, T-SQL, PL/SQL, AJAX, MVC, Drupal, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Bash, or shell scripting is also welcome.
