Senior Data Analyst

An established financial services organization in Vienna, Virginia is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives., * Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical data solutions * Analyze, clean, process, and validate large datasets to support reporting, business intelligence, and data science initiatives * Define data requirements, business rules, data definitions, and quality standards * Perform data quality audits, reconciliation, UAT, and accuracy testing to ensure data integrity * Apply statistical techniques and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytical insights and support ongoing initiatives

4 to 7 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role * Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field * Strong hands-on experience with SQL and scripting in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis * Advanced experience with data cleansing, preprocessing, validation, troubleshooting, and data quality management * Experience with statistical analysis techniques, including distributions, variance, correlation, regression, and hypothesis testing

Desired Skills: * Experience using AI-assisted analytical tools * Exposure to Power BI and PySpark * Understanding of data governance practices
