AI Engineer - Data Science

You’ll be one of a small group of AI Engineers. You’ll work directly with underwriters and operations staff. You’ll adapt the products we already run to their needs, and build new ones where nothing fits.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, engineering or a related field
• 0-4 years of experience, including internships and co-ops
• Strong Python and SQL, and comfort with messy real-world data
• A grounding in statistics

• Work you built yourself and can show us. For this role, that means one or more of: *

• A structured-extraction or document-processing project
• A RAG or document Q&A system
• An evaluation or testing setup for model or LLM output
• A data analysis or modeling project on a real dataset
• Curiosity about how the business runs, and the patience to learn insurance from the people who know it
