Job description

We are seeking an IT Specialist to support corporate IT operations in our Arlington office. This role serves as the primary on-site IT presence and partners closely with the IT Manager based in Pittsburgh to ensure consistent standards, performance, and reliability across locations.

In order to do this job well, you must be motivated to work hands-on in a high-growth SaaS environment. You will be responsible for delivering dependable IT operations, supporting a high volume of in-office collaboration, and maintaining disciplined systems and endpoint management.

This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA

This role may require up to 10% travel

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site IT resource for the Arlington office.
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and collaboration platforms.
  • Ensure conference rooms, AV systems, and video conferencing technologies operate reliably for frequent internal and external meetings.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain office peripherals, including printers and scanners.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain macOS and Windows endpoints.
  • Technical Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end process, including provisioning devices, identity creation, and secure account deactivation.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle, imaging, and Asset Management tracking.
  • Administer Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms to ensure secure and appropriate user access.
  • Support endpoint management tools such as Mosyle, Intune, SCCM, or similar.
  • Assist with Cloud and SaaS provisioning, license management, and user lifecycle processes.
  • Support local networking infrastructure, including wireless systems, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot VPN and remote access issues.
  • Apply systems and network security best practices aligned with company standards.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge base materials.
  • Perform day-to-day security functions, including monitoring and responding to alerts within the SIEM tool.
  • Utilize EDR platforms to ensure endpoint health and security compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall security posture of the local office environment.
  • Actively identify opportunities to improve IT functions and automate manual tasks.
  • Write and maintain SOPs and knowledge base materials for all core IT processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, AV providers, and service partners as needed.
  • Work closely with the IT Manager in Pittsburgh to maintain alignment across offices.

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS administration?, * U.S. Citizenship is required, * 4+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar technical support role.

  • Must be a highly organized self-starter capable of working independently to manage competing priorities, track long-term projects, and proactively identify operational improvements without constant supervision.
  • Proven experience deploying and maintaining macOS and Windows hardware using MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Mosyle).
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and WiFi management.
  • Experience managing IAM solutions (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID) and Cloud environments (e.g., Google, Azure, AWS).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting diverse hardware (especially MacOS), office peripherals(printers/scanners), and conference room AV equipment.

Desired Skills:

  • Direct experience performing initial triage on alerts within SIEM or EDR platforms (e.g., Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Splunk).
  • Experience assisting with the physical installation or configuration of firewalls and network switches.
  • Automation and scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine provisioning or administrative tasks.
  • Preference for candidates holding CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA) or Professional Google Workspace Administrator credentials. Additional certifications such as Network+ are a plus.

We firmly believe that past performance is the best indicator of future performance. If you thrive while building solutions to complex problems, are a self-starter, and are passionate about making an impact in global security, we’re eager to hear from you.
