Checker - NX Software

• Performs design and drafting of both electrical and mechanical aspects of electronic equipment.
• Implementing Engineering Revision Notices
• Generate Source Control Drawings
• Generate detailed assembly and part drawings in compliance with ASME Y14.5-2009, ASME Y14.100-2013 and company standards.

Perform Design checking duties for a group that does RNs / ECOs using NX and Teamcenter. Must be familiar with industry standards and the application of GD&T. Must have current NX experience, preferably 23*** or newer. This is a long term remote contract opportunity

General Skill Requirements:

• Proficient in Siemens NX2412 and Teamcenter MPLM Tc2412 or newer versions
• Good 3D modeling and detailing abilities
• Ability to work with large assemblies
• Familiarity with electronic packaging, machined and sheet metal parts, chassis, brackets, heatsinks, etc.…
• Current knowledge of GD&T and recognized industry standards
• Ability to work with limited oversight but under the overall direction of a supervisor or lead engineer
• Familiarity with MS Office products, Excel, Outlook, Word etc.…
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good organization skills and attention to detail
