IT Apps Designer II

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and APIs. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, optimize application performance, and support integrations across enterprise systems., * Design, develop, test, and implement complex Salesforce applications and enterprise software solutions.

• Build and maintain Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and APIs.
• Support Salesforce Revenue Cloud and/or Salesforce CPQ implementations, enhancements, and ongoing development.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing technical solutions.
• Support Quote-to-Cash processes, including complex pricing, product configuration, guided selling, approval workflows, and quote templates.
• Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and ERP, billing, finance, and other enterprise applications.
• Apply Salesforce DevOps best practices, including source control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Monitor application performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and support preventive maintenance and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application defects and technical issues.
• Participate in technical design reviews, solution assessments, and software development planning.
• Evaluate development tools, technologies, methodologies, and standards to improve application quality and delivery.
• Ensure solutions meet established requirements for security, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, project management, and IT teams to deliver effective business solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and perform other related duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work effectively with business and IT stakeholders., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least eight (8) years of experience as an IT professional, with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines.
• Demonstrated hands-on Salesforce development experience, including:
• Apex
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flows
• Salesforce APIs
• Experience implementing Salesforce Revenue Cloud and/or Salesforce CPQ solutions.
• Strong Apex and LWC development skills.
• Solid understanding of Quote-to-Cash business processes.
• Experience with complex pricing models, product configuration, guided selling, approval processes, and quote templates.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, billing, finance, or other enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable application solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, respond to changing needs, and maintain a strong sense of urgency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI tools or AI-enabled solutions in software development or business applications.
• MuleSoft integration experience.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
• Experience with Salesforce Billing, Revenue Cloud Advanced, or subscription-based business models.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise application architecture, software development lifecycle methodologies, and application performance monitoring.
• Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs), software development standards, and IT service management practices.

Education and Experience Equivalencies

A master’s degree may substitute for one year of required experience, and a Ph.D. may substitute for two years of required experience, where applicable.
