SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer/Developer

Insight Global is looking for an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer/Developer to join one of our large, highly regulated clients for a 12-month contract with possible coversion. The role will support several projects focused on SailPoint IdentityIQ development and the implementation of Segregation of Duties (SOD) policies across thousands of applications. This engineer will design and implement workflows supporting provisioning, approvals, certifications, remediation, and identity governance. They will build custom SailPoint rules using Java and BeanShell, develop plugins and extensions, and configure IdentityIQ applications, integrations, lifecycle events, and access request processes. This individual will also implement complex SOD policies and automation related to policy creation, evaluation, violation handling, lookback analysis, and remediation. Additional responsibilities include configuring auditing capabilities, developing custom reports and dashboards, and writing SQL queries for reporting, reconciliation, and troubleshooting. This person will troubleshoot SailPoint workflows, integrations, provisioning processes, and production performance issues while participating in testing, code reviews, deployments, and production support. They will follow Git and SailPoint Solution Build (SSB) development practices and prepare technical documentation, deployment packages, knowledge-transfer materials, and operational support documentation.

• 5-6+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ development experience * Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ 8.x or later o SailPoint certifications * Strong experience with workflows, rules, plugins, lifecycle events, provisioning, approvals, and access request processes * Experience implementing Segregation of Duties (SOD) policies and related automation * Proficiency in Java, BeanShell, XML, and SailPoint IdentityIQ APIs * Strong SQL skills, including reporting, reconciliation, and database troubleshooting * Experience with SailPoint auditing, audit data, custom reports, and dashboards * Experience troubleshooting SailPoint integrations and production issues * Experience with Git and SailPoint Solution Build (SSB) development or deployment processes * Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and access governance * Experience with REST and SOAP integrations * Experience working within financial services, highly regulated organizations, or large enterprise environments * Experience with certifications, role management, and entitlement governance * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management * Experience developing custom SailPoint plugins or automation pages
