Job description

An employer is looking for a Communications Network Engineer to join the team supporting a large government customer in Point Loma. Duties will include evaluating communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network-related problems. Additional duties include administering LAN/BAN/WANs, scheduling conversions and cutovers, and coordinating with all responsible users and sites. Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer-integrated networks.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance

  • 5+ Years with WAN/LAN/BAN administration support

  • 5+ years integrating networks in a large-scale environment

  • Bachelors Degree or CCNA

  • Experience implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current network solutions
