IT Administrator/Video Analytics Specialist

This position combines traditional Systems Administration with advanced Video Analytics and AI operations. The individual will assist with maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT and network infrastructure while also being responsible for intelligent video surveillance systems, computer vision models, Video Management Systems (VMS), IP cameras, and related security technologies., Infrastructure & Systems Administration

• Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments.

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure supporting business operations and high-bandwidth video streaming.

• Configure and maintain Fortinet, Dell, and SonicWall firewalls, switches, and related network equipment.

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IP telephony/VoIP systems.

• Support and maintain enterprise wireless network systems.

• Configure, monitor, and maintain Network-Attached Storage (NAS) systems, including storage used for video surveillance and data retention.

• Maintain NVIDIA GPU infrastructure used for AI and video analytics workloads.

• Monitor system performance, availability, storage capacity, and network connectivity and proactively address potential issues.

Video Analytics & AI Operations

• Support and administer Video Management Systems (VMS), DVR/NVR systems, and video analytics platforms.

• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IP cameras and associated network infrastructure.

• Optimize video streams for performance, quality, bandwidth, and storage requirements.

• Calibrate and support video analytics functions, including:

• Object detection

• Loitering detection

• License plate recognition

• Deploy, monitor, maintain, and update computer vision and AI models.

• Optimize end-to-end performance from video capture and transmission through GPU inference.

• Troubleshoot camera connectivity, recording, storage, analytics, and VMS-related issues.

Security & Operational Support

• Implement and maintain data security, encryption, firewall policies, and access controls.

• Maintain compliance with applicable privacy and data-security requirements.

• Provide advanced technical support for servers, networks, IP telephony, wireless systems, storage, cameras, VMS platforms, DVR/NVR systems, and video analytics.

• Document system configurations, network architecture, troubleshooting procedures, and technical changes.

• Work with internal operations teams, vendors, and technology partners to resolve infrastructure and security-system issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong systems and networking experience, along with hands-on knowledge of enterprise security, IP telephony, video surveillance, and AI-driven video analytics environments., Experience

3+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following:

• Systems Administration

• Systems Engineering

• Network Administration

• Video Operations

• Physical Security Systems

• Enterprise Video Surveillance

Hands-on experience supportingIP-based networks, IP cameras, DVR/NVR systems, VMS platforms, firewalls, switches, wireless networks, NAS storage, and/or IP telephony systemsis strongly preferred.
