Job description
We’re seeking a .NET Developer to support our customer’s modernization initiative. You’ll migrate Legacy applications and data, integrate enterprise systems, and improve permitting workflows., * Transition PEN, Microsoft Access, and Mainframe systems into GoldKey, maintaining data integrity and validating migration results.
- Develop and modernize applications using C#, .NET, MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Build and optimize Oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures.
- Develop and tune SSIS ETL processes and design, deploy, and integrate SSRS reports.
- Implement secure RESTful/SOAP integrations and authentication.
- Automate workload assignments and support online submissions, tracking, invoicing, payments, and enterprise content management integration.
- Improve Building Permit and Paving & Drainage workflows, including Impervious Surface Reviews.
- Support environmental and historical preservation requirements and municipal Sewer Extension Permits.
- Collaborate with county analysts, vendors, and other project teams.
Requirements
- Strong C#/.NET development, OOP, debugging, and maintainable coding practices.
- MVC architecture, routing, and application security.
- JavaScript, jQuery, DOM manipulation, asynchronous programming, and AJAX.
- Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and database normalization.
- Hands-on SSIS and SSRS experience.
- Windows application development and secure web service integrations.
- Enterprise application modernization, Legacy migration, and workflow automation.
- Clear written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail.
Prior experience with government agencies or organizations delivering large-scale migrations and integrations is preferred. Location Miami-Dade County, FL, United States of America
