Windows/Citrix engineer

We are seeking a skilled Windows/Citrix Administrator to join our dynamic Application Operations (AppOps) team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting our Citrix and Windows-based infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), including provisioning, patching, and performance tuning. Manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy. Collaborate with AppOps, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues. Maintain and improve automation scripts and tools for system management and deployment. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities. Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure, including StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Director, and Citrix Gateway. Manage user profiles and policies using WEM, and Group Policy. Implement and support Citrix WEM for user environment optimization and performance tuning. Manage Citrix PVS farms for efficient desktop and server provisioning -IIS Server Management

3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, Citrix Director, ControlUp). Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. —, Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate. Experience with AppOps or DevOps environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments. Exposure to application performance monitoring (APM) tools.
