IT SOFTWARE ENGINEER I

• Design, implement, and maintain workflow solutions and business applications to automate or simplify business processes.
• Develop SQL queries and reports.
• Determine and prioritize user requirements for software enhancements.
• Perform configuration maintenance in the agency’s ECM system, including document types, keywords, queries, and autofill’s.
• Provide Tier 1 technical support and system administration for ECM system and integration middleware.
• Provide Tier 1 technical support and file testing for PERSI employers pursuing transmittal file certification.
• Supports maintenance of the agency’s internal and external WordPress websites, including routine updates to content, plugins, and configuration.
• Assists with basic PHP-level troubleshooting and adjustments to support WordPress site functionality, escalating more complex issues as needed.
• Configure and execute regression test routines using automated test scripts and perform basic problem resolution for test failures.
• Evaluate, test, plan and implement modules, upgrades, and system changes in third-party software products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Good knowledge of:

• Multiple programming languages.

Experience:

• Testing, deploying, and supporting production systems.
