Job description
- Drive the company’s major cross-functional initiatives end to end - taking our most important cross-team bets (new procurement-platform / ERP integrations beyond Ariba and Coupa, SOC 2 Type II, scaling enterprise onboarding and migrations, release-predictability programs) from fuzzy idea to delivered outcome.
- Bring structure to ambiguity: define scope, owners, dependencies, risks, and a realistic plan - then keep it on track and visible to leadership.
- Serve as the single source of truth for cross-team status, dependencies, and risk, surfacing problems early instead of at the deadline.
- Own the monthly release train end to end: cadence, scope cut-off, go/no-go, regression sign-off coordination, release notes, and the post-release retro.
- Run the go/no-go call with earned authority - keep half-baked work out of the train and protect the date.
- Coordinate customer-facing release communications so CS / Delivery has what they need, by when, and it goes out (they own the messaging; you make sure it happens).
- Build just enough durable process to make delivery repeatable - and retire process that isn’t earning its keep.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * 6-9 years in technical program / project management, several of them driving cross-functional programs and owning release/delivery in B2B SaaS.
- A track record of taking ambiguous, multi-team initiatives from kickoff to done - herding scope, dependencies, and risk across functions, with influence rather than formal authority.
- Experience with integration- and data-heavy products that talk to third-party platforms via APIs, live within partner ecosystems, and handle a lot of customer-specific configuration.
- Technically fluent: able to read an API or integration spec, reason about data flows and system dependencies, and hold your own in an architecture discussion. Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and the shape of business data; light SQL a plus. (You don’t need to write the code - engineers just need to respect you.)
- Comfortable running go/no-go decisions and saying “not yet” when it counts, and keeping process proportional to the problem.
- Excellent written communication.
Nice to have: background in procurement, spend management, AP automation, or fintech; experience working alongside or on top of large platform ecosystems (ERPs, marketplaces, SaaS suites) - SAP Ariba and Coupa especially.
