Senior Electronic System/Home Technology Technician

As a Senior Electronic Technician at Custom Residential Systems, Inc. you will serve as the primary lead on jobsites and manage the installation process. Further, you will direct Technician Assistants/Other Technicians (where applicable) as they assist in job completion. You will train them so that they learn the key responsibilities for advancement. Senior Technicians are expected to work independently, with little oversight from management to complete job tasks and expectations., · Oversee and manage job installations related to programming, networking and surveillance (performing all from scratch)

· Extensive troubleshooting

· Hookup and configure all devices; ability to perform Lutron, Vantage, URC and other control systems from scratch

· Manage customer service issues

· Mentor, train and develop Technician Assistants and Level 1/Level 2 Technicians

This is the Senior role within our Technician hierarchy and for those that have 5+ years of experience and prepping for management level., · Advanced knowledge of low voltage installation procedures and guidelines

· Advanced knowledge of home automation/control system programming for Control4 and Savant systems, lighting systems (Vantage and Lutron), computer networking and surveillance

· High School or equivalent

· 5+ Years of Experience and/or Merit Based

· Ability to carry, climb and maneuver on ladders; work with hands and power tools; ability to work in harsh temperature/weather conditions, outside, in attics/crawlspaces

· Present a positive, professional and courteous image; exceptional interpersonal skills

· Attain Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) prior to start
